• About us

  • Our farm and equestrian centre is located in a very quiet and peaceful location in the Motueka Valley, about 20 min. from Motueka. We have 30ha of mainly deer fenced paddocks, rolling hill countryside and arenas to ride on. We are away from the main road to ensure a very safe environment for all.

    Carolin has been training horses and teaching riders for most of her life. Growing up in Germany she has ridden since she was 7, training horses to sell on at a big horse stable. She has been competing in eventing at national level in Germany.

    In New Zealand, she is undertaking a Coaches Course to become a qualified and registered ESNZ Coach.

  • Major

    Major is a 6 year old St. James gelding. He is still young and not that experienced. Super floaty paces, quite a big trot. On the ground he is very lovely and loving the attention more and more. He still needs some more experience and outings, but I am sure he will be a Superstar.

  • Pippin

    Pippin is a 7 year old 13.1 welsh x English riding pony. He is very cute, always comes and is always all over the handler. Absolutely loves the attention. When ridden he often needs to be told quite clearly what to do, he won’t do guesswork and just wait for clearer commands. Very lovely, does not mean bad at any stage.

  • Champ

    Champ is about 13.2 hh, half brother of Chocolate and also born on the Farm. He is a strong personality, loves to go in the front and loves to know what what’s going on.

  • Spirit

    Spirit is a 11.2 hh, just a beautiful little pony to have. Great on the ground, loves to stand and get attention. She is fantastic to be ridden, either as a lead rein pony or first ridden for younger children. 

  • Maggie

    She is a 13.1 hh Kaimanawa Pony. Once you have got her friendship she will be friend for ever. Tries her best to please, She is still young and has been started not long ago, therefore not suitable for total beginners.

  • Max

    Max is a 8 hh cute wee pony. He is fantastic with small children, loves to go for hacks in the forest. He is your very best friend and would even hop in the car with you if you let him. He can be ridden off the lead and is very patient and kind.

  • Fairy

    Fairy is a 10 hh high beautiful pony. She is most adored by young girls.

  • Primo

    Primo is our big “Dude”, very well schooled, super pleasant to ride. He is also very safe to ride out. He is the biggest horse on the farm at 16.3 hh.

  • Rico

    Rico is a 14.1 hh Gisborne bred gelding. He is super calm and quiet to ride, not too keen on too much flatwork, but loves hacking out and jumping.
    He is a funny character, doesn’t mean bad at all but does look a bit grumpy on the ground. He is not fond of being brushed forever but also tolerates it all. Very cruisy, will stand around for hours.

Business Changes

Please note that we have recently changed our services:

  • We now offer lessons on your own horses and on ponies leased from us.
  • We are available for schooling and training for your horses.
  • We offer great grazing and agistment services!

Riding lessons using our own horses, holiday programs, trekking and birthday parties are no longer provided.

In the future, we are also planning confidence workshops (on the ground and when riding).
